I'm Alert is a free online training tool to help food businesses make sure that food is suitable and safe.

About the program

The program is equivalent to a two-day consultant-delivered course; the training tool is easy to follow.

The training covers food handling and hygiene topics such as:

  • food handling skills
  • food storage and processing
  • food packaging
  • food transportation and disposal
  • food handler hygiene and cleanliness
  • cleaning and sanitising equipment.

On completion a training acknowledgement form can be downloaded for staff records.
