During the month of August, visit the Hamra Centre Library to see the intriguing artwork 'Three well known Australians'. Created by artist Martin Shaw, the abstract painting has been touring the nation continually since 1983.

There have been hundreds of guesses as to who the figures may be and this month you can take your guess. Along with the painting you will see letters penned by many famous people with opinions on the identities of the 3 figures. You can write your guess in the journal provided.

As you enter the Hamra Centre Library you'll see the painting in front of the magazine area. While you're in the library be sure to also see the SALA exhibition on display in the auditorium - The boundaries of connectedness by Felicity Martens. There's also an array of SALA exhibitions around the West Torrens area during August.
