Introducing Westside Fringe 2025

Building on the success of our 2024 Westside Fringe launch, we're proud to announce our expansion as a Fringe council in 2025.

As part of our commitment to supporting the arts, we're thrilled to offer venue hire for Fringe artists this year, including the following community facilities :

Lockleys Community Room

Lockleys Community Room

This facility features a spacious hall, fully equipped kitchen, and convenient storeroom. With 2 adjacent public playgrounds and ample greenspace, it’s an ideal venue for family-friendly or children’s events.

Plympton Community Centre

Plympton Community Centre

This venue offers a classic community centre feel, featuring a spacious hall, a well-equipped kitchen, and a versatile room that can serve as either a changing area or storage space. With front and rear access directly from the carpark, it’s an excellent choice for those seeking an accessible hall space.

Apex Park Community Facility

Apex Park Community Facility

Apex Park Community Facility is the perfect venue for children’s shows, offering a scenic setting with a creek, ducks, ample greenspace, and an onsite public playground. The hall features floor-to-ceiling glass windows that provide stunning views of the lush surroundings. The hall’s unique T-shape design allows for flexible use; you can either use it as a single T-shaped space or divide it into 2 rectangular halls with a retractable wall, each accommodating up to 30 people.

Additionally, your show will be featured in our Westside Fringe Program, which will be published on our website and shared across our social media channels.

Want to try the space before you book?

If you'd like to try the space for a rehearsal session, we're happy to accommodate, provided we can find a mutually convenient time when the facility isn't being used.

Each facility includes the following amenities:

  • microphone
  • tables and chairs
  • high chairs
  • urn
  • kitchens
  • onsite and street parking
  • AV system: connect via AUX cord from your phone or HDMI cord from your laptop.

Westside Fringe 2025 Exhibition

We're excited to offer an opportunity to exhibit your artwork in the Westside Fringe Art Exhibition, as part of Adelaide Fringe 2025. The theme is 'Heart of the Outback: Expressions of the land' and is a mixed media exhibition. Applications to exhibit are open until 5 December 2024.
