Airport completes overlay project

Since September 2023, the Adelaide Airport has been undertaking maintenance works to the main runway and taxiways. 

Works have now been completed, with a small amount of maintenance to be undertaken later in 2024 during warmer weather.

Around 62,500 tonnes of asphalt were laid on the runway and taxiways, with 15,500 tonnes being recycled asphalt produced onsite.
