Rewire feature classes
The West Torrens Library Service offers a series of free, small group IT classes for beginners and intermediate users covering a range of topics in digital technologies. Classes are scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays and are taught using Windows based computers and a range of mobile devices in the Library's Learning Centre.
Participants must be members of a South Australian public library and bookings are essential for all classes. Classes are free.

This class will teach you essential tips for secure online shopping. It will guide you on protecting your personal information, identifying reputable websites, and avoiding scams. With the ever-expanding online market, gain confidence to navigating the online marketplace.

Accessibility features on your devices
As part of Adult Learner’s Week, we’re running a special informational class on what accessibility features are available on your devices, and how you can make the most of them.
These features can be useful for everyone who uses an Apple or Android mobile phone or tablet. From text size, colour changes, voice controls, to quick buttons and touch assistance – there are many hidden features in your device that can improve how you use your device.

Join our inclusive gaming class designed for all abilities, where beginners are especially welcome. In this fun, non-judgmental space, you can learn new skills and enjoy gaming on Nintendo Switch consoles.
We’ll also explore options for accessible controllers to ensure everyone can participate fully. Come and experience the joy of gaming in a supportive environment.

Google is usually everyone’s go-to for research, but not all the results are accurate.
Our library provides Gale Research Complete to connect you to trusted, up-to-date content from leading magazines, newspapers and scholarly journals, ebooks, literary content and primary sources. These collections are easy to access, and with integrated tools, you can save, download and share.
