ANZAC Day Dawn Services

The Hilton RSL hosts the largest West Torrens ANZAC Day Dawn Service in the City of West Torrens Memorial Gardens. People are encouraged to attend from 5.30am, with a march departing the Hilton RSL at 5.45am. The service is scheduled to commence in the Gardens at 6.00am.

Hilton RSL offer a hot breakfast at their clubrooms at 147 Sir Donald Bradman Drive, Hilton following the service, beginning around 7.15am; $12 per person.

Additional services will be held at Mellor Park, Lockleys, and Bill Shepherd Reserve, Glenelg North, gathering from 5:30am for a 6:00am service. At Mellor Park, breakfast will be served in the Lockleys Community Room by Australian Air League Cadets.

Road closures

Please be advised the following roads will be closed to vehicle traffic for the ‘Hilton RSL ANZAC Day march’, between 4.30am and 7.30am on Friday 25 April 2025:

• Sir Donald Bradman Drive, Hilton between Washington Street and Brooker Terrace (left westbound lane only).
• Brooker Terrace, Hilton between Sir Donald Bradman Drive and a point approximately 100 metres south.
