The blue wavy line represents the River Torrens.
The green wavy line represents the coast or beach.
Together they also represent the centrepiece in the former West Torrens Coat of Arms.
The yellow setting sun depicts our city's western geographical location.
It also represents the centrepiece in the former Thebarton Crest.
The stream of white dots represents the cultural heritage of the area, traditionally the home of the Kaurna people.
The stream of blue dots represents a moving motion of breaking through into the future.
The white wavy line represents reunification, strength, power and peace.
Use of the City of West Torrens logo
Copies of the City of West Torrens logo and the Corporate Style Guide can be obtained from the Creative Services team at Council.
In the event that the City of West Torrens logo is to be used by an external party for promotional purposes (eg community events, seminars etc), a draft copy of the promotional material must be provided to the Creative Services team to ensure that the logo is correctly represented according to the Council's Corporate Style Guide. Under no circumstances should the logo be downloaded from Council's website or another internet site for reproduction in promotional material.
