Want to make a difference in your community?
If you are interested in joining a group of like-minded people in helping others, the Rotary Club of West Torrens could be just the place for you!
New members are always welcome at our meetings and if you give us a call, we will be happy to talk you through everything, answer any questions and provide additional information.
About us:
Rotary aims to make a difference to communities at local, national and international level by providing services and assistance to the disadvantaged in society. Members also contribute to the outreach program in Timor-Leste and to international programs such as End Polio. More information can be found on our website
Roles available:
While Rotary does not have specific volunteer roles, new members are always welcome as everyone has skills and knowledge which can be utilised to benefit others. We have plenty of fun and accomplish many things including:
- helping Foodbank on a fortnightly basis
- undertaking fundraising barbecues
- marshalling at the Bay to Birdwood event
- sponsoring local students to Rotary leadership and vocational programs
- assisting charities and not-for-profit organisations with fundraising.
Meeting details:
6.30pm on Tuesdays at West Adelaide Football Club, Milner Road, Richmond.
