We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for our community which is accessible for all, regardless of ability. Council’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) illustrates our commitment to embedding access and inclusion across services, events, programs and facilities.

The 2021-25 DAIP aligns with the themes of the Inclusive SA: State Disability Plan 2019-2023. Following the 2022 interim review of the State Disability Inclusion Plan, our Action Plan was reviewed and updated to align with the state actions and 7 outcome areas identified in Australia's Disability Strategy 2021-2031.

  • Community Attitudes.

The implementation of the DAIP requires a whole of Council approach towards achieving these 4 themes. It is a dynamic and fluid plan that will respond to available information and be regularly reviewed and updated.
