Our Council seeks to support a range of housing types across the city, while conserving properties of character and heritage value.
Council is offering Heritage Grants to subsidise work associated with the conservation of local heritage properties and representative buildings in the City of West Torrens.
The Heritage Grants provide the opportunity to receive a subsidy of 50 per cent of the cost of the proposed conservation work. Reimbursement is capped at a maximum of $2,000 per eligible property.
Heritage restoration provides local jobs for appropriately skilled tradespeople while enhancing the streetscapes of our urban area.
The grant for 2024/2025 opens on the 26 August and closes 1 October. Please subscribe to this page to be kept updated for any changes to the program including relevant dates.
