Runner up

Artist: Georgina Willoughby

Connecting to natural elements of place through walking inspires my semi-abstract image making. The experience of collecting materials and dwelling in place are translated through combinations of printmaking & drawing processes in an attempt to capture the essence of the places I inhabit.

Artwork: Linear Autumn

Linear Autumn describes the various meandering tracks that delineate the Karrawirra Parri. From the fallen bark of the giant karra that signals the end of Hardys Road (a place of departure & return), I have created an ink that radiates the essence of these karra-lined banks during the drier months.

Runner up

Artist: Lloma MacKenzie

Combining inks, lino, paper and mixed media in the production of contemporary print-making, Lloma Mackenzie uses traditional and alternative methods of lino cutting to create both delicate and bold artworks. She explores the themes of place and memory. Natural and man-made environments inspire her.

Artwork: My Parklands

My work is a reflection on the value we place on the green spaces in the Wet Torrens - the linear parkway, private gardens and other parklands. I have created hand-coloured linocuts and collage to make this bold image. The words 'my parklands' are repeated in reverse for interest and intrigue.

People's Choice

Artist: Anne Allen

I am a visual artist with a passion for mosaic art. Inspiration for my art comes from the beauty and diversity of the natural world. My mosaic practice allows me to explore the intricacies of colour, form and texture that I see in the world around me.

Artwork: Karrawirra Parri

The River Torrens at Fulham is the inspiration for this mosaic. My connection to this special place began as a child when I would explore and play along the river bank. This connection continued over the years and, in time, I brought along my children, and now my grandchildren to visit the river.
