Rashed Kabir - owner Living Jute

Living Jute is a family-owned business in Cowandilla dedicated to environment and sustainability by utilising jute fibres in the creation of its products.

Jute is derived from plants and is totally biodegradable and recyclable.  In addition to creating practical and environmentally sustainable products for the community, this business sources its product from ethical suppliers in the rural areas of Bangladesh and proactively engages with local schools in metropolitan Adelaide to teach students about the importance of the environment and cultural diversity.
