The Embroiderer's Guild of South Australia has more than 450 members, and is a not-for-profit organisation has been a highly valuable community group for more than 58 years.

Located in Hughes Street, Mile End, the group provides important social connection for its members, who study and promote the practice of embroidery in all its forms. The group is open to all ages, genders and skills; the only prerequisite is the love of needlework.

The group holds regular workshops and classes for beginners through to more experienced embroiders in a relaxed and friendly environment. 

Having been formed in 1965 there are now 10 branches across regional South Australia.
