The ongoing effects of COVID-19 have been felt among many of us, particularly younger people. A group of 15 students from Years 8 - 12 have taken it upon themselves to be wellbeing ambassadors, supporting other students at the College, as well as further afield in West Torrens. They have organised several community events to help young people develop resilience, including the ‘Bouncing Back’ fair at AFL Max, ‘GeoExplore’ geocaching scavenger hunt and the ‘Screenies Movie Marathon’. They’ve also been involved in school-based events against bullying and violence.
