Operation Flinders

Council recently provided support to Operation Flinders for students from Underdale High School to take part in the 2022 program. The program works with youth from all over South Australia, aged 13 - 18, to create opportunities for personal development by providing outback challenges in the Flinders Rangers which help teach life skills and resilience. The program is specifically designed for those from environments with family dysfunction, drug abuse and physical abuse; it helps build and improve self-confidence and self-esteem, ability to undertake team work and to accept responsibility.
