Community Service Award 2020
Kim Smith

Presented to citizens who have made outstanding voluntary contributions in the field of community services in West Torrens in recognition of their appreciated and highly valued efforts for the benefit of the local community. A maximum of ten Community Service Awards may be presented annually.

Kim Smith, Clubhouse/Diamond House SA Director, received a City of West Torrens Community Service Award in recognition of her many years of service and commitment to people in the Western suburbs in the area of mental health.

Diamond House is a community mental health program which operates using the International Clubhouse model that supports individuals who have the lived experience of mental illness. Kim was nominated because she gives much of her own time to people in need.
