Community Event of the Year 2020 Dimitria Greek Festival

Presented to a person/group who has staged the most outstanding community event during the past year.

This two-day festival which celebrates Greek Macedonian culture and heritage celebrated its 41st year in 2019 and attracted crowds in their thousands.

Organised by the Pan Macedonian Federation of South Australia, Dimitria was originally staged in West Torrens before moving to Salisbury for a time, but it has now returned to Kings Reserve, Torrensville.

Staged by many volunteers who give tirelessly of their time during the two-day event, Dimitria is a West Torrens’ cultural event that helps boost the local economy and showcase parts of our beautiful city.
