 Presented to a local community group that has made an outstanding voluntary contribution to the community of West Torrens. Only one Community Group Award may be presented annually.

Camden Park resident Mark Neville Franklin was this year’s Environment Award recipient because of his involvement in local environmental initiatives.

A member of the SA Youth Environmental Council and Trees for Life, Mark has been an ambassador and volunteer for numerous groups during the years and in 2016 was awarded the inaugural Trees for Life Young Achiever of the Year. He has been responsible for coordinating Clean Up Australia events, as well as growing plants for Trees for Life.
